A dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid is injected directly into these folds. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar found in the body which helps increase volume in the skin. Hyaluronic acid fillers can soften the appearance of these lines by restoring lost facial volume, creating a smoother and younger look.

Depending on your facial anatomy and the depth of your lines, we may also recommend dermal filler injections in the cheek/mid face area, to help lift the lower face and maintain a more natural shape.

Nasolabial Folds and Marionette Lines Enhancement Procedure

Correct placement of fillers is governed by your facial anatomy. During your consultation, we observe whilst you animate your face in different ways, allowing us to determine precisely how best to reduce your nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Before injecting dermal fillers, we apply a topical numbing cream to ease discomfort. Very fine needles are used to administer the injections. You will notice the difference immediately and after a few days your skin will feel totally natural.

The entire process is completed in approximately 60 minutes.

Effects of the Treatment

The temporary side effects of the procedure should only last a few days and may include slight swelling, bruising and redness/tenderness.
