How Profhilo® Works

Profhilo® is a new discovery in facial ageing, addressing skin laxity, not just filling lines and wrinkles. Made from 100% pure hyaluronic acid, it nourishes dermal cells, restoring firmness of the skin.

Profhilo® stimulates your skin to produce 4 different types of collagen and elastin, due to the slow release of hyaluronic acid, resulting in significant improvement of skin tissue quality, renewing your skin from within.

It's patented technology is engineered for skin remodelling. It can help to increase firmness, tighten and lift skin, improve tone and texture whilst restoring radiance and hydration.

The Profhilo® Treatment Procedure

A single course of Profhilo® involves two injectable treatments, four weeks apart.

We advise no makeup to be worn on treatment days. We cleanse the skin thoroughly before taking photographs, which we use for before and after comparisons.

We use very fine needles to inject small amounts of Profhilo® into five specific areas on each side of the face.

The entire process is completed in approximately 30 minutes.

Effects of Profhilo® Treatment

The temporary side effects of the procedure should only last a few days and may include swelling, bruising and redness/tenderness at the injection sites.

You can expect to see an intense skin hydration and luminosity and will notice smoother, tighter skin. Even if you have very wrinkled skin, you will see a marked improvement in texture. Some people see improvements within the first week, however full results are visible four weeks after the second treatment. Results typically last for a minimum of six months, after which time the treatment can be repeated.
